Castle Cottage Winchcombe

Comfortable and well equipped. Liked the outside space, well appointed cottage. We would have loved a fan in the bedroom during this recent heatwave! Good value for the money and location.

This can always be personal, but mattress just a touch to thin for the luxurious bedframe. The gap between the mattress and the frame was noticeable but we recognise that you'll never match old to new. Only other comment, cushions for the outside furniture would have been very welcome 🙂

Absolutely nothing whatsoever. It was fantastic.

Perfect cottage in perfect Cotswold village. We absolutely loved it. Clean, comfortable, cozy. We had everything we needed: parking, pub, supermarket - all within 1min walk. And an amazing castle 2min drive away. Can't recommend this accommodation emough. The village as well!

Absolutely fabulous place. The cottage is perfectly tucked away in the heart of town — peaceful yet central. Full of charm, with remarkable attention to detail: portraits on the walls, beautiful ceramic kitchenware, stone floors and gently uneven walls. It feels like a true time capsule, transporting you to another era of quiet countryside living and evenings by the fireplace. Very calm and relaxing atmosphere, yet everything is within easy reach — a convenience store and a lovely historic-style pub just a few steps away. An excellent base to explore the area: Sudeley Castle, the abbey, and easy day trips to Oxford and across the Cotswolds. Spring made it especially magical, with fresh blooms everywhere. David is extremely responsive and helpful! Thank you!

Excellent location. Car park close by and so were shops and restaurants. Beautiful cottage.
