TownePlace Suites by Marriott Oconomowoc

I stayed here on a work trip back in August 2023 for the first time and was impressed with the quality of my suite and the property overall from the outdoor fire pit and seating to the seating areas near the lobby. Everything is very nice. I am writing this during my second stay here for work in March 2024. I was warmly welcomed back by the cheerful front desk associate. She gave me a personalized bottle of water and a note card - what a nice gesture! What I especially like is the efficient room design of the suites and the calming color pallet of the textiles and wall art. Stepping into this suite after a long day of driving and working almost feels like being at a vacation retreat because the accommodations here are really that nice! I will definitely stay here on all of my future work travel to this area!

Great property to stay at. Rooms are clean and comfy. Breakfast is ok, coffee is ok, Good area to stay. Food and shopping nearby.

Nice place

We had a nice stay here, the hotel is very new with nice accommodations. The staff was great, included breakfast was good. My only complaint was that the pull out couch was very firm and not comfortable really. Everything else was great and will stay here again, hotel was close to everything and was very quiet

Night 1- Room was 61 upon arrival. Turned to 70 and left for dinner. Came back and it was 62. Called front desk to see if I did something wrong and was told it was motion controlled so when I leave the heat would shut off. Asked how this worked when I slept as I did not want the room to be 60 while sleeping and told that she did not know. Day 1- Woke up to shower not draining, shampoo and soap empty, hair from previous occupupant all over the shower wall. Discussed with front desk staff. Was told it would be fixed. Night 2- Returned from work and room was 61. Sat on the bed under two comforters and had to turn the heat back on three seperate times that night to stay above 62. Day 2- Went to shower and the drain was fixed, but still no soap or shampoo and the hair still present on the wall of the shower. Discussed again to the front desk and was told that all would be fixed AND that they could override the temp and would set it at 70. Night 3- Returned from work and the shampoo and soap were finally filled and the hair cleaned but the room still 61. Night 4- Same as the previous nights and thermometer still not fixed. Spent 4 miserable nights there with the room temp 61-62 degrees. When I was in the room and moving it took 3 hours to hit 68. I checked out a day early due to the conditions. I travel for work several times a month and have been loyal to Marriott. Always have some small issues here and there, but always fixed and never major. This was the worse stay I have ever had.

Absolutely the dirtiest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Crumbs, stains, hair, and dirt everywhere. When we brought concerns to staff, the response was, “Sorry about that.”We couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Skip this one.

Still a very new building, so everything is up to date and fresh!

The "sofa bed" was a joke. Nearly booked another room as it was just a box, basically.

Had difficulty with noise in my first room, had difficulty with heat in my second room. Can’t see the tv from the sofa in the studio room.

It is very clean and spacious. All the amenities included are up to date and first rate!
