"So much better than a chain hotel room."

We stayed at the Ocean Mist in October 2025 and couldn’t have enjoyed it more! Such a cool experience, comfortable bed, great housecleaning, great front desk people and great people up at the bar/breakfast area.

Our third stay on the Ocean Mist and I can't wait to return already. From the moment we stepped onboard we were made welcome. Our room was immaculate, very comfy and had everything we needed. The small Castle View bar (which to be fair only catches a glimpse of the castle!) is lovely and offers some great cocktails. Highly recommended

Not a conventional hotel but a great experience. Beautiful rooms but it was the staff who made it a great stay. Location perfect for getting into and around the city.

Lovely room with a large comfy bed, bathrobes as well which is always nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was we had a connecting room which meant we could hear the people next door. Lovely continental breakfast. Hotel is close to restaurants, bars and Ocean Terminal shopping centre.

"The Ocean Mist, Leith"

What a fabulous treat to stay aboard The Ocean Mist for my partner’s birthday. The room was amazing with a massive bed! It was so comfortable and the room had everything we could possibly need. The continental breakfast had plenty of choice and was served in the bar overlooking Leith Shore. Thank you all for a great experience.

"A magical experience…"

This is an actual ship that has been transformed into an upscale boutique hotel. It truly was magical…great rooms/decor/service! Loved sitting on the deck/lounge with an amazing drink from the bar! We will definitely be back!!
