"Show Weekend Away "

As normal Room Service could count on Room Service to be poor. Arrived on Friday and showered for Show night only to have no Shower Gel/Shampoo or Conditioner. Had to use Hand Soap pump at the bathroom sink squirting it into a glass. Ask Room Service Saturday morning to fill them up please and they took the bottles away and told they would come back with them later. Showering for Saturday night Show now and had to follow up with a Hand Bar Soap being delivered to our room after we had left for Dinner/Show and too late!! Fed up with paying so much money for atrocious room service. Rest of the stay and service was great in the Club.

"Worst hotel we have ever stayed in"

Worst hotel we have ever stayed in and worst service received. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Day 1 - 2pm checked in. No hangers in the wardrobe and safe locked open. Called housekeeping, was transferred to reception, told someone will fix the issues. One hour later and a further two calls to reception still nothing. Personally went to reception and was told again that they are sending someone. By this stage we missed lunch with friends who we were meeting. A lady came up to fix the safe - didn’t speak English. Hangers didn’t arrive. We went out but returned at 5:30pm and still no hangers. Called reception- same response and no action. Went back to reception and spoke to Peter, the duty manager. His response was “we’re busy”. 15 minutes later, he came up with the hangers. Day 2: room not serviced (inc in our package). Went out, back at 2pm, room not serviced. Understand stays are done later. Went out at 3pm and reminded reception that are room has not been serviced. Response- “we service stays between 1pm and 3pm”. Returned at 6pm room still not serviced. Called reception told someone will be up. Nothing so again walked to reception. Told by a female receptionist that they are busy but will send someone. 30 minutes later, a male came to the room and handed me a pile of towels at the door. Asked him if he is come in to service the room and he said he can’t. I asked if he can take the dirty towels away, which he did reluctantly.

"Ok, daily room service average"

We stayed for 5 nights and booked another room for a family member 3 nights Spacious room with good ammenities. Nice quiet room. Breakfast staff friendly. Housekeeping : The service to rooms daily was average, staff completely under the pump, not their fault, priority is given to vacating rooms apparently not current in-house customers, consequently room service done very late in the day which was inconvenient . Day 1, I made the bed and found the underlay was filthy, I pulled it off and asked for a clean underlay and was told they are not changed between each stay ! Yuk. This is not ok. They did not have a spare to replace it for the rest of the stay, I was told they needed to order a replacement as they don’t have fresh underlays in stock .The daily room service only included towel replacement no basin or toilet clean, ( I had to ask for this on day 3 , the shower floor & grout need a thorough scrub. Allow the staff the time it takes to maintain the standard daily service, attention to detail, it is important.
