Cedar Falls Motel

Good location and very quiet.

The property was just what I was looking for. The room was comfortable and clean. The nice area for pets was a plus. The only drawback was that there was no staff in the office. They were supposed to be there from 9am to 7pm. First, we had to wait to check in. I could not reach them at the telephone number provided, which could have been my phone reception, but it was made clear to us that we could check in at a certain time, and when we arrived at a little after that time, no one was there. We also had to reuse towels, because we couldn't find any one to let them know we needed clean towels.

Older motel with rustic charm. I’d stay here again, my wife wouldn’t.

We enjoyed our stay! Everything was very clean! We were right down from the park. Enjoyed the evening at the pool and pavilion! We will definitely be returning!

The staff was wonderful and the room was super clean and nice the only thing was no tv reception but all in all it was great

Very nice old style drive up motor court. Very clean & up to date rooms. Very peaceful setting in the country away from the highway. Excellent location as a base stay for hiking Petit Jean State Park, which is 2 miles away. Very nice staff. Cell signal isn't great in the area so be patient when checking in if no one is in the office & you call the number on the door (it's a cell phone). After a short drive around Red Bluff Drive to see Rock House Cave, the Turtle Rocks & the CCC Overlook we went to Mather Lodge for dinner & a beautiful sunset view. Then it was a quick drive back to the motel for a good nights sleep.

Hosts were friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable, convenient to everything on the mountain. We were unable to take advantage of all amenities due to the weather (i.e. firepit, charcoal grill, etc.)

My adult daughter and I came to hike Petit Jean and stayed here four nights from Sept. 28-Oct 3. Room is normal motel room. Air conditioning, toilet, shower with hot water, mini-fridge and microwave all work. Beds (2) comfortable with lots of pillows. Internet was not available nor was WI-FI. Needed to drive out to an overlook like the Palisades to get anything. Pool water was cold and refreshing. Lots of towels. Congenial and willing management. We spent little time in the room. Out hiking every day. This is not a luxury accommodation. We ate our evening meal at the Lodge in the State Park down the road. Beautiful sunsets. Great hikes in the mountains though drought takes away falls and creeks along trails.
