Dirty! When we got to the room it seemed like no one had cleaned the room floor or the bathroom sink/floor. Found other peoples head hairs, and other hairs, on the floor. Yucky! Otherwise the room would be really nice.

No one answer when you call front desk, and locals outside the lobby gambling dice on the sidewalk.

Great find! Awesome price, you have everything you need but it’s a no frills hotel but who stays in their room in NYC. You feel good there. Neighbours are insanely noisy, but not the hotels fault. Not the most affluent area but we felt totally safe. Was able to park my car free outside the hotel all 4 days. About 10 min walk to subway. Would recommend, would return

Poor customer service. Bad rooms , bad neighborhoods. Dont go there

Neighborhood is really noisy and unsafe.

1. I asked for clean towelS 2x & were never taken. 2. Loud neighborhood and neighbors blast music at 2am-4am. Hotel does nothing about it. 3. The 4 days I stayed room service never once when to clean or even refil toilet paper 4 . Did not even have a hair dryer or an iron. Legit nothing. And to top it off wifi signal did not even work in the room I was in. Motel 6 is even better than this and then the smell of marihuana was the worst part. Don’t recommend specially if you have kids

Hotel employees were nice and very helpful. The hotel itself was ok but there was no housekeeping done, towels not changed after four days, bed not made, bathroom lights failed on the second day. Reported it but no one sorted it so had to shower in the dark or used our phone torchlight! The area is dodgy after dark. Youths played excessively noisy rap ‘music’ from 7pm till the early hours directly outside the hotel. Brownsville has subway access to Manhattan if you don’t mind walking for half an hour both ways every day. Can’t recommend the area if getting to see NYC tourist sights is a priority.

Hotel was brand new so that was positive, although the 10-15min walk from either of the nearby train stations is a little sketchy. There is also nothing cool close by. Economically great but not extremely convenient.

It's a newly built hotel and in my experience was well maintained. Helpful staff, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was smallish but the bathroom was big and I thought the shower was great. The area is nothing to write home about but it has good transport links to the city or to nicer parts of Brooklyn. If you want a quick breakfast or late night snack there's a McDonalds, KFC, Taco Bell, Dunkin Donuts and local diner (Dennis' Place) within 5 mins walk and there's a supermarket (C Town) and dollar store just around the corner. At present I don't think there are many better options for NY at this price point, would recommend this especially for a shorter stay.
