Location was very good for train station

It was basically a 2 min walk to the station and we were able to leave our luggage. The room was very clean and airy and had a modern feel to it. The bed was comfy and even though there was heating on, there was an additional fan heater in the room. The staff were very pleasant and friendly the atmosphere in the bar was very relaxed. The continental breakfast was good and there was a nice selection. (This was included in the room rate) You can order a cooked breakfast, for a charge. A couple had this and it was freshly cooked and looked good.

The shower was a hit and miss. it went from hot to freezing. There is some noise from the road but this is to be expected.

Good location. Hotel room was spacious and clean. The facilities at the hotel seem decent.

There is a cost for anything cooked at breakfast. No one told me this upon check in so the charge came as a surprise to me. I was charged £6.95 for scrambled eggs with me having to make my own toast to go with it! I was also charged £9.60 for nothing - clearly an error on their end. When I questioned the hotel about this, I got curt responses and no apology. Very disappointing as I liked the hotel apart from this.

Excellent location. Family room was very large,only stayed 2 nights but would be comfortable for much longer. Next to train station, easy route into Scotland Good continental breakfast, upgrade available at additional cost, that was freshly cooked.

Late booking cost more, not really the Hotels fault but marks the stay down for value. Noisy Karaoke night but we were warned on check in.
