Super friendly welcome, clean and comfortable newly refurbished room, comfy bed ensured a good sleep.

Breakfast was prepackaged and just left outside the door. While I don’t normally eat breakfast and saved it all for snack later, that should be clearer in the offering.

Super friendly & spotlessly clean. Minor downside is slow or no WiFi

Came to Crook from Oxford for a funeral. On arrival at The Stables etc. found they didn’t provide food and breakfast would be delivered in a box outside door. Landlady was extremely pleasant and helpful. Room was clean but tiny. Had to leave before breakfast because of problem back home.

I was there with my Wife and elderly mother to see where she had grown up as a child. We were very happy with the room. Very impressed by the kind welcome and the room was very clean and warm.
