The Stables at The Black Horse

Poor parking, step steps to rooms, only a 4ft bed, no cooked breakfast, limited choice continental breakfast. Booked for two nights only stayed one and have asked Expedia for refund for other night. Very upset/unhappy.

Lovely modern room and very clean.

No cooked breakfast(does not say on booking.com), we got a bag each of breakfast goodies left outside room and this was really good, but it was awkward eating it as no chairs or table in the room so we were perched on the bed.

Staff were great. Pub were good. Little continental breakfast were banging in it's little bag. Coffee to go was brilliant. Defo will use again if needs a stop of in the area. No evening meals on the side however, the staff was happy for us to have a take away in a pub, even looking out for the delivery guy.

Four foot bed as a small double. Wasn't made aware of hairdryer in cupboard in corridor on arrival. Large clock in room needed battery replacing. Needed to ask for room to be serviced. These are really minor comments as our stay was quite okay.

4 foot double bed. No toilet roll holder. Nowhere to hang a towel.

The rooms were warm, clean and quiet. The staff were helpful

The bed was small for 2 adults. There was no Wi-Fi in the room (not really acceptable these days). The TV in the room kept changing channels and turning itself off at times. The continental breakfast was disappointing, Chocolate bar, sponge cake, chocolate croissant, porridge tub and piece of fruit (so mostly sugar). Would suggest a limited pre-order menu so food can be selected in advance.

All the staff were lovely, the pub was great and the room was clean
