The staff were super nice and accommodating. This place beautiful & clean. Really enjoyed our stay.

Our stay in the three-bedroom boathouse at Canoe Place Inn & Cottages was nothing short of amazing! The property was impeccably clean, with every detail thoughtfully attended to. The digital locks on the doors gave us peace of mind, knowing that safety was a top priority. The decor was modern and chic, effortlessly blending style and comfort. It felt like a luxurious retreat while still being cozy enough to feel like home. The staff were incredibly professional, always ready to assist with a smile and ensure we had everything we needed for a flawless stay. We highly recommend Canoe Place Inn & Cottages to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience. We are already looking forward to returning for future stays!

I have stayed at the Cottage, Hotel, and ate at the restaurant… all are fantastic! What a treasure to have in Hampton Bays! The Staff are truly exceptional in every way. The rooms are beyond gorgeous. The hotel and grounds are well decorated.

Holiday suite was absolutely amazing. I Ruptured my Achilles just in time for holiday season and was devastated that I couldn’t celebrate or travel accordingly. I felt bad that my girlfriend and I wouldn’t be going on any fun winter getaway like we had intended. This suite was recommended to me by a family friend and I am so glad I jumped right on it. The room was unbelievable, decorated in gorgeous Christmas greens and flowers, a warm and cozy living room with fire place and personal bar corner. When we arrived the room was stocked with still and sparkling water, a selection of wines and snacks, as well as a chilled bottle of champagne. In addition an adorable plate of 5 or 6 Christmas cookies. We had dinner at the good ground tavern, the restaurant inside the hotel, and it was just as amazing!! House made focaccia served with whipped riccotta was insane. And our steak and Striped Bass Entrees were delicious. What a wonderful idea and so happy I was able to make it happen. Lovely place. The room and bed were terrific! Great bar and restaurant. Breakfast buffet was good...could use option to have scrambled eggs...but not a big deal. Service staff were all very personable and good at their jobs. Will certainly be back.

Every person was pleasant, the room was beautiful, the food was amazing! 100% recommend staying here if you get the chance! We stayed for a mini honeymoon and every employee made us feel special. We are so excited to return in the future. The decor is beautiful and we couldn't be happier with our experience!

The well appointed cottage was breathtaking and charming. We arrived on a raining night in the dark, lights were placed on in key cottage rooms to welcome, complimentary Hot Cider & Snacks provided on the kitchen island. The gas fire place in living room and kitchen just took the edge off, and provided that warmth and visual as we come in from a rainy night with our bags. The mattress, sheets and pillows all contributed to an amazing and restful night sleep. Thanks John

I have to say, with no hyperbole, we had the best experience with staff I have ever had in a hotel. The night we were there, we unfortunately had an emergency where our baby tumbled off the bed and we had to run to the hospital to make sure he was ok. Mark Manjuck, the manager, ran outside with genuine concern and helped direct us to the hospital. Thankfully my son was fine, and when we got back to the room, we were surprised to find our room full of treats, with a bottle of champagne, and a hand written note wishing us well. The staff are all absolutely top class, and I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the Hampton Bays area. Thank you all so much for your service, and making us feel genuinely cared for!

Canoe Place Inn is a hidden gem, featuring gorgeous accommodations, curated culinary experiences and lively entertainment. The team is incredibly hospitable and intuitive to guest needs at every turn. For our stay, we were delighted by the Guest Chef Series featuring Mashama Bailey culinary prowess, while enjoying live music in a well-appointed dining room. My wife enjoyed a spa appearance with Patience, a true professional in her care.
