Puerta Aqua by La Puerta Hostels

The hotel is pleasant and the room is very spacious. It's very close to the center. The fridge in the kitchen can be used by the guests. The city is hot so being able to have cold water anytime is a big plus. They prepared us some salad for breakfast as we are vegan. By the way it's only two blocks from Govinda's restaurant. It's a vegan restaurant on a first floor that serves mainly breakfast and lunch but you could ring the bell and have dinner till 8.00 pm. The menu (a non alcoholic cocktail, soup, big plate of fries, rice, salad, a lentil burger) is delicious and a steal at 23,000. I would like to give credit to Valentina, a very smart girl who went above and beyond to answer any question I had, to help me find the best neighborhoods in other towns so I could book hotels there, to advise me what should I do in the town as well as the nearby areas. Our stay wouldn't have been the same without her. A big thanks.

There was a kitchen but you can't use it to cook. A couple of the staff are rather indifferent. We waited almost half an hour to have our breakfast.

Very friendly staff, great location just a short walk away from the busy tourist center. Good breakfast!

Nice location close to the city center.

Smell in the room. No windows (just a small one to an interior corridor). Quite loud (especially in the morning when breakfast starts). We used the laundry as well - very fast, but I doubt the quality of laundry - clothes had a weird smell afterwards.

Staff were extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Great AC, hot powerful shower and fresh breakfast. Location is ideal too!

Windows could be much better at keeping out the noise. There was music a few streets away from the room but we could hear it all night

Clean, great location and easy access to the buses to go anywhere. Staff are friendly and helpful and the place was chilled out.
