Puerta Aqua by La Puerta Hostels

Great location for visiting Santa Marta (pedestrian shopping/dining/party streets, the marina, the gold museum) and Tayrona National Park (hiking to beautiful beaches). The staff was always helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. The room was big and comfy. Bathroom was big and the shower had warm water every time. The AC worked great. The entire place was immaculately clean. There's a supermarket about a block away from the hostel.

The little desk in the room is propped up by arms that didn't seem reliable, but were. I was glad I had a couple of clips to keep the curtains closed when the desk was propped up.

good location, clean spacious rooms, friendly staff who speak good English. good working Wi-Fi and AC. great value for money. close to supermarket and restaurants etc

inconsistent temp of water but not a huge issue

it’s an excellent place, close to good restaurants and bars

Everything was clean, the bedroom and bathroom looks like a more expensive hotel
