Hilton Taghazout Bay Beach Resort & Spa

My husband and I came here for a 5 night getaway and while the property itself is beautiful, we had some not so great experiences. The good - - The breakfast buffet is delicious and well worth the spend. - The staff at the pool restaurant, Mbark in particular, were very nice and attentive - The property is well maintained and the pools are clean. Lounge chairs are all new and very comfortable The Bad- -If you aren’t a walker, you’ll be taking a lot of taxis. It’s a 45 min walk each way into town and while the boardwalk or beach are very nice, in the heat, it’s a killer so be ready with water. - I emailed the hotel prior to our arrival to request the shuttle from the airport. They never replied so we ended up taking a taxi - Our check in was a disaster. They had no idea how to add our Hilton rewards number, the woman at the Honors desk was extremely rude, our room was 30 minutes late and then they said they were giving us an upgrade as an apology. The upgrade was a ground floor room with no view of anything, a shower that leaked and flooded the bathroom and shower gel that took days to get refilled even after asking. The manager said he would be coming back the next day to give us a better room and never did. - They say to not bring in outside food or drinks but there is nowhere on site to buy snacks or any drinks. You can’t even get a Coke before 11 am; forget about a bag of chips should you want one - if you’re in a country where you can’t drink the tap water, hotels shouldn’t be charging you for water. They only provide 2 x 500ml bottles of water a day and in the heat, you need to be drinking at least 6 of those a person.

Staff were great and helpful, no complaints there. There was enough facilities to enjoy.

I feel the buffet breakfast and dinner was not so much great. The choice was great but i felt the quality so ok. Not the best you would expect from such a top hotel and such cost.

Nice welcome when arrived, clean hotel and location good if you want pool, sea and beach. Good walk into village takes you 30 mins to walk in if you want something different. Anaw restaurant in grounds first night tried & waited to be served even a menu for a drink & get anyone’s attention. Had a negroni from this bar and not good & poor quality. They need to up their game on service, cocktail making & choice. Ideas put strawberry dairiquri, Long Island ice tea, long negroni. They need more staff trained in customer service and someone keep an eye on the area. Breakfast area at main part of hotel full of staff in the morning but the Anaw is short staffed in the daytime and evenings needs a change. Pillows terrible in bedroom even with two pillows completely go flat in a matter of minutes. Bedroom lovely, hairdryer, iron, slippers included, nice bathroom.No bathrobe disappointed. Room kept clean by maids every day make me feel looked after even when I didn’t make my bed myself. Ladies toilet by pool attached to Anaw for 3 days no soap in dispenser to wash hands - why this isn’t checked by cleaners need to improve. In the evening early 18.30 went to use toilets and hand soap but no toilet paper in any of the toilets. Breakfast mayhem on Saturday 28/3/26 with 130 conference lawyers/legal people hitting the main hotel & breakfast area very loud voices, with no consideration for other people for the whole weekend they were in. They were very demanding to staff who were trying to cope and the rest of the guests felt annoyed. It was chaotic & stressful and unpleasant. I would suggest from experience of setting up and running conferences you set up the conference centre with breakfast to avoid the traffic of these people over powering the main breakfast area and causing havoc and upsetting the other hotel guests!!

Sobriété prononcée des chambres décoration très élémentaire Propreté très moyenne des couloirs surtout moquette qui sent mauvais et ascenseur aussi (odeur de transpiration irrespirable à plusieurs reprises! ) Suggestion: désodorisant d'ambiance dans couloirs et ascenseur ) Petit déjeuner pas digne d'un hôtel étoilé Surtout la qualité des jus. Pas de fruits variés....

Le cadre, les infrastructures et le personnel

Les repas hors petit déjeuner ne sont vraiment pas bons. Un simple club sandwich ou une salade César très mauvais… pas représentatif d’un Hilton

Nous avons apprécié le personnel et le petit-déjeuner.

Dommage que la piscine soit si froide. Le buffet du repas du soir n’est pas très bon. En revanche, le restaurant marocain est très bon.

L emplacement

"Expérience très décevante du début à la fin. Dès mon arrivée, il y avait un sérieux manque d’organisation et surtout de communication. J’avais clairement réservé une chambre avec pension incluant petit déjeuner, déjeuner et dîner, mais à chaque fois que je me présentais, on me disait que ce n’était pas inclus ou qu’il y avait une confusion avec un groupe. Souffrant d’un problème auditif, j’avais pourtant informé le personnel à l’avance, mais aucun effort n’a été fait pour faciliter la communication (ni explication claire, ni suivi). J’ai dû insister à plusieurs reprises pour qu’ils contactent la réception, ce qui a pris beaucoup de temps, et la réponse était toujours floue. Concernant la chambre, aucun effort non plus : pas d’eau dans le minibar, et malgré une demande au service de chambre, rien n’a été livré. Pour un hôtel de ce standing, c’est inacceptable. Au final, face à cette accumulation de problèmes et au manque total de considération, j’ai été contraint de quitter l’hôtel vers 15h sans même pouvoir prendre mon déjeuner, alors que ma réservation était encore valable jusqu’au lendemain. Le plus surprenant reste l’absence totale de réaction du personnel lors de mon départ : personne ne s’est soucié de savoir pourquoi je partais ni si j’étais satisfait. Seuls points positifs : l’emplacement et un personnel globalement poli, mais cela ne compense pas une expérience aussi mal gérée. Rapport qualité/prix très insuffisant."

Lovely modern hotel which was always spotlessly clean. Room was large and well equipped (though I would have liked more coat hangers and a shower cap). Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Oumaima and the pool man who always supplied us with towels and umbrellas and checked we were okay. Breakfast was excellent, had everything you could possibly want with delicious pastries. The staff actually opened the Imim restaurant early for us as our toddler granddaughter was tired and hungry. The only negative was that sometimes the service at the Awal restaurant was rather slow, a 40 minute wait for a pasta dish for granddaughter and the fact that they couldn’t serve ice cream because they didn’t have a scoop!! Loved the pool layout and the gardens. Definitely come again.
