Don Rafa Boutique Hotel & Residences

Stayed for 3 nights Very friendly staff on Checkin, the hotel is a perfect boutique hotel lovely atmosphere and nice bar and lounge area, very relaxing. Our room was nice, the bed very comfortable, bathroom a bit small not many places to put things. Water supplied daily as was coffee in our room The only slight issue was we were on the main road side and there are 2 24hr cafe/bars and on the Friday and Saturday we heard music until 4am. It wasn’t very loud and we slept ok but if you’re a light sleeper it may be an issue. Complementary continental breakfast was good. The location is a couple of miles from the old town and beach about a mile but there are lots of Ubers which are cheap. There isn’t much around in the immediate vicinity. The roof top pool is very small and very sallow which was what we had not expected. There is seating but no sun beds. We would definitely recommend it if your after a quite relaxing stay and the staff all round were excellent

The place was spacious, and the location was good. The staff was friendly enough.

We had a major water leak midway during our stay and I was not super happy about how the hotel handled it. The cleaning of the water was not great. They moved us to another suite which was a downgrade. They did not offer us any credit for the downgrade. They didn't offer to help us with the move. We accidentally moved some of the minibar items (there was no minibar -- it was all in the fridge so we took what we thought was our stuff that we bought) and they charged us for all of it even though we didn't use all of it and it was left in the new room.

Not worth the money. Poor wifi connection. Clean hotel. Seemed like a Boring part of town. No close by restaurants that enthralled us, so we got a to go pizza from papa Johns. Pool is only 18 inches deep at it's deepest point, more like a bath tub than a pool. Not anything to write home about with the Continental breakfast (nothing hot). Small bar, very expensive restaurant. Definitely not worth the $300 a night that it cost us.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The room we had was stunning, huge and well equipped. The staff were wonderful - helpful and always available on reception. Breakfast was simple but given it was included, we had no complaints. Would 100% stay again. Great cafes, restaurants etc. close by as well as a supermarket. The food truck park is about a 10minute walk and is great!
