Sakura Ridge

Every detail was perfection. From the gracious welcome by Evan with a glass of Nashi sparkling cider in hand to the gourmet breakfast the next morning it was an oasis. No expense has been spared in taking Sakura Ridge up to the next level. Have visited over the years and always found it to be wonderful. Now it is sublime. One night stay mid week and had the entire lodge to myself. My breakfast choice of Kuku Sabzi (Persian herb and leek frittata) accompanied by warm buttermilk biscuits and citrus salad with warm honey dressing was entirely satisfying.

Beautiful and secluded agriturismo-style lodge on a working farm and orchard with stunning views of Mount Hood from every direction. Guests can enjoy the views from their rooms, the many porches on the property, even from the bathrooms furnished with soaking tubs and toilets with heated seats. Private dinners can be booked starting in May. Meanwhile, there are many choices for restaurants in nearby Hood River. Breakfast is made-to-order with vegan and vegetarian options. We especially enjoyed the Persian-inspired omelette, chia seed pudding and the warm biscuits with homemade blackberry jam. Organic ingredients are either grown on the farm or sourced from local farmers.

This is place is truly a piece of heaven. Wife and I decided last minute to book a night away and chose Sakura Ridge - Farm & Lodge. The property sits atop a hill overlooking Mt. Hood and has a down home farm feel with very modern amenities. The lodge is built like a large log home and very comfortable. The property has orchards, gardens, and large grassy areas for you to walk and enjoy. The service was top notch and the breakfast was out of this world!

Sakura was quiet and elegant. The staff was very helpful with questions we had. Would stay again if the opportunity arose.

The property is beyond gorgeous! It is quiet, secluded and there are incredible views everywhere you look. The food (thank you, Chef), was outstanding and we were made to feel welcome by Lia, the General Manager, who went out of her way to make us feel at home!

Stunning, peaceful location in a pear orchard with views of Mt. Hood and the gorge. Breakfast to die for! I begged the chef to start preparing dinners as well.

This secluded propery is set in a besutiful orchard/ small farm with magnificent views of Mt. Hood and the beautiful surroundings. The luxurious bedding, towels, heated toilet seats, excellent mattresses make sleeping a pleasure, and you will wake up to a delicious breakfast prepared by Chef Brennan. Michelle, the GM, could not be more helpful and accommadating. Sakura Lodge is an experience not to be missed.

it was heavenly. a bit of a drive from downtown Hood River, but so worth it.

This property is amazing! A hidden gem tucked back into one of the quietest and most serene spots in Hood River with breathtaking views of Mt. Hood! Michelle and team provided excellent customer service and the breakfasts were amazing!! Only wish we added on an extra day to just sit and enjoy the property. We got home today and already thinking about a return trip!
