Hostal Los Pinos

This was such a pleasant hostel with such lovely and helpful staff... Just amazing! I screwed up some other bookings on my part, had to reschedule bookings with this Hostal and was even basically gone for 2 days, so I was a bit worried, but it all worked out thanks to the staff being very understanding. Also: Fantastic location. Supermarkets, restaurants and the seaside... All within 5 walking minutes.

Room temperature =cold. Heating didn’t really work for me. A bit expensive

Good location, easy walking distance into town, restaurants, shops and to the water. Cozy rooms. Internet, heating, showers were great. Very lovely and helpful staff. Can store luggage for a fee. Breakfast available even for the extra early starts. Cancelled another accommodation to stay here instead after TDP.

The room was clean but the rooms are quite old. Some insects were crawling in the shower which was a bit nasty.

Large, bright, clean and comfortable room. Hot shower with great water pressure. Excellent location close to restaurants, shops, waterfront - yet quiet. Staff was kind and helpful. Appreciated the fresh brewed coffee, real milk, and hard-boiled eggs as part of breakfast (among other offerings).

This is not a bash on the hostal as I saw this throughout the town…the view of a back yard/enclosed space space with dogs lots of random piles of stuff.

This place is super cozy and perfectly located! The furnishings are a bit dated, but it’s rustic and charming and spotlessly clean. We actually liked it so much that we stayed a second time on our way back from Torres del Paine :)

Like I said, it’s a bit dated but honestly for the price it’s still decent value. The only thing we actually didn’t really like was the breakfast (instant coffee/basic options), but there’s a great cafe called Nomad right around the corner and they had some of the best coffee we tried in 2.5 months in South America.

Good location and comfortable for a one night stay

Very creaky floors and wind rattles the windows. Breakfast extremely basic.

We could hear the people walking/moving in the room above us which woke us up very early
