Chapel - Central Studio Apartment

The property is perfectly located, close to the train and bus stations/stops and just a stone's throw from all the shops and the beautiful city centre attractions! I found my stay in the apartment very comfortable, and appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and other amenities.

It was a bit noisy some nights, especially during the weekend, but this was expected given the central location of the apartment (nothing some earplugs can't fix!). I also found that the blinds don't block all the light from the street, so will be sure to pack a sleep/eye mask for my next visit!

I love the location and... the washer/dryer! It was new & modern so clean.

There was nowhere to put my clothes. No shelves or drawers so they were all over the bed. Lucky there was only me travelling alone. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, so I had to sleep on the lounge.

Quite good location. And the bed was comfortable.

Every day, from about 7:00 in the morning, through the early evening, there was the loud and constant hum and high-pitched whine of a loud generator. Initially, we'd thought the huge noise was from construction right outside our windows (which the owners did not tell us about beforehand -- not nice), but then we discovered that that noise is there all the time; it comes from the giant generator and exhaust system of the hotel right across the street! The owners offered to bring us a fan, to add some white noise. We declined (More noise? thanks, but pass). We went out, and when we returned, saw that they had entered the apartment anyway, without forewarning us, and added a large fan to a studio apartment short on space as it was. Well intentioned no doubt, but the gesture felt very invasive, and disregarded our wishes. Likewise, we later found out -- through someone else in the building, instead of from the owners themselves -- that a handyman with his own key to the apartment would be arriving soon, to fix an issue with the apartment door, which a different neighbor (not us) had complained about. The owners didn't even bother to tell us that someone else would be arriving and entering the studio. We're thankful that, by pure coincidence, we crossed paths with someone else in the building who let us know, so that we could be there when another person entered the studio.

The location was amazing and the apartment itself was absolutely gorgeous!!!! I loved it there.
