Angel Island Eco Resort

The reefs around the island are quite good. Healthy and abundant soft coral on one side, hard coral on the other, and lovely underwater landscapes. Also plenty of other marine life, including turtles, sea snakes, blue spiny ‘ lobsters’, baby sharks, etc. Enough to keep an experienced snorkeler occupied for days, and would also be well suited for beginners. The buildings are lovely. So is the staff, and also very helpful. The vegetarian dishes they make are excellent, especially the shakshuka - as are the home made chips.

The chicken and fish dishes were OK but not particularly good. Every day at 5 we had to be in our bungalows for 30 mins, because the whole resort was fumigated. Necessary to keep the mozzies under control, but still a bit disruptive.

Excellent nature view and service.

We liked the well preserved nature, the privacy, the details of the bungalow, the kindness of the staff, the care for sustainability, the coral reef right in front. The food was good, we found it a bit overpriced and a bit boring.

Full of mosquitos and horseflies.

This is a pretty special place. Peaceful paradise on an amazing reef. It has lots of great touches I can't recommend it enough. Staff are sweet and super helpful.

Great Island and Resort. If you want a calm and relaxed vacation with a great house riff you are at the right place. Great service and food.

An amazing resort on its own island! The resort is excellent in all measures. Staff are very kind and helpful, food is good and reasonably priced, cabins are very, very nicely set up and luxuriously appointed. Internet was good and the grounds have lots to offer with beaches, snorkeling and kayaking. It is not cheap but reasonable considering what you get and when looking at other options available in the area. We came all this way from Brazil to see the Komodo Dragons and we saw so much more. During our speedboat tour organized by the resort we were lucky enough to encounter beautiful islands, meet lovely people and saw bats, birds, jumping fish, deer, monkeys and of course the Komodo Dragons! We highly recommend the resort to unwind in a peaceful, comfortable setting with lovely staff.

All my expectations were exceeded!
