A little difficult to find at first

Ideally situated to be able to walk into the town. The house was nicely decorated and had everything we needed for our stay.

The host was very obliging ensuring that we had a smooth arrival. It is an excellent location within walking distance to the town centre.

The friendly welcome from James, the cleanliness, location, comfy beds and furniture.

Excellent holiday home, everything perfectly arranged for comfort and convenience. Easy walking distance and lovely walks down to the town and up to the tower. Peace and quiet but an easy walk to activities. Handy parking at the side. Super friendly host with great info on the best places to go for fantastic sights and amazing food.

James provided some excellent suggestions of restaurants in the area and things to do. We dined at two of the restaurants recommended and both were excellent. They were also likely locations that we wouldn’t have happened upon on our own. The wee loft was in a good location, with an easy walk to McCaig’s Tower and downtown Oban (a slightly more challenging walk back - to be expected in hilly Oban). The loft was clean, but we found the beds and furniture a tad uncomfortable. There were some oddities with the plumbing (took ages to get hot water to run in the kitchen faucet, had to run the tap in the sink to turn on the shower). It was extremely humid and the property would benefit from a dehumidifier or a fan or two. The property was equipped with everything we needed - even a couple of Glen Cairn glasses for whisky (a nice touch!). Thanks James for the pleasant stay and excellent restaurant suggestions.

We loved the location, and how clean and cosy it was. The beds were very comfortable and we slept incredibly well here - the best sleep of our 3 week holiday.
