Staff were really helpful and room was very nice. Restaurant was pleasant and food good. Battle is a beautiful town.

Traffic noise constant all night long. Juggernauts literally shake the building all night long. A fan would have been nice so we could close the windows.

Great location, very hospitable. Comfortable, clean and well stocked room.

The bed was uncomfortable, Everytime you moved it creaked. TV didn't work it was on audio no screen.

I liked the location and warm welcome on arrival.

The room was a little warm and could have benefitted from a fan. But it wasn’t unbearable.

Good central location and a very pleasant room. Nice to have bottles of water and a range of toiletries.

The noise from the bar and terrace unfortunately kept me awake, which I did not expect midweek. It seemed impossible to get the shower to a steady temperature, other than freezing cold or boiling hot.

Loved the quirkiness, the old building, beams, flooring, atmosphere. Lots of refreshments in room, teas, coffees, water. Toiletries supplied too.

Bed & pillows slightly uncomfortable. Noise from bar went on later than expected, after midnight. We weren’t prepared for the lengthy loud drunken singing. But sadly we weren’t feeling well that night so might have enjoyed it more on another occasion

The location was great for the town

We viewed the info that there would be loud music in the bar below until 1200 on weekend, however on arrival (after paying) we were told by the barmaid/receptionist that the music will be until 1230, the noise actually carried on until 01.45 with people drinking outside the pub under the window with their carryouts! Never again, no sleep. Shame because the room was fine.
