Good location for purpose of my stay. Very friendly staff. Needed to keep window open for air, traffic on street can be quite noisy. Could also hear people in other rooms/pub downstairs. Could not get Television to operate properly (sound but no picture).

Nice pub with good food, friendly, helpful staff, convenient to the shops, nice cafes, big bathroom and a clean room.

Maybe a separate entrance area to the accommodation, u don’t have to keep walking through the Bar area. Then there is no car park, have to go looking for a car park and keep paying for it, I see there is a back area, maybe providing free parking for guests would add to the appeal in staying at the accommodation.

Great location with friendly staff. Room was spacious and decorated nicely. Great location.

Quick.unfussy check in, simple comfy rooms, great location and great staff.

Nothing not to like BUT this is not a place for those who can't compute that the rooms are a lively pub. It's noisy til c. 1130 then silent after midnight.

Friendly staff especially Lola. Room overlooking the High Street was spacious and the bed very comfy. Food was good in a relaxed room at the back. It mixes a friendly pub, good accomodation and food.

You have to park a short walk away.

Not very clean…look at the dust on the tea tray! Hot room and no fan, knowhere to put anything,a chair would have been useful, expensive considering standard and would have been nice if breakfast was included in the price. Noisy with people in corridor outside room and toilet flushing as not conventional flush. Only 1 bedside lamp and a shame not informed of being locked out past 11 pm and having to ring to be let in and hope the phone is answered
