SCP Mendocino Inn and Farm

I enjoyed the rustic feel of the property. There are llamas you can walk right up to and pet and chickens you can feed (who feed you in turn with their eggs at breakfast every morning). A personal parking spot is a nice touch. Worth a little extra money for the ocean view. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind.

We thoroughly enjoyed our very relaxing stay in our beautiful, cozy room!! We loved our breakfast, feeding the darling chickens, & being allowed to have our dog stay with us. This is a great place to stay, close to town but removed enough to enjoy peace & quiet. Thank you!!

The older cottages with rooms on the east side of the shoreline highway had private outdoor sitting areas that overlooked the meadows, vegetable garden, grove of trees, and a small patch of the ocean was viewable. They were not quite on the highway, so noise from traffic seemed to be more muted. Unfolding, we stayed in a upstairs room in the newly remodeled annex on the west side of the shoreline highway where traffic noise was more pronounced. The bathroom felt crammed and a little makeshift for $365/night. There was no mini bar in the room itself but was available 3 short flights of stairs in the lonby of the annex. For the price of a room, this property offers much more. The ability to walk around on property and see the farm and vegetable gardens, and even access a beautiful beach - all made for an experience. And the room was very nice as well.

Beautiful room and property. My wife is a plant nerd and absolutely loved it. The walk to the beach is a bit longer than expected, but worth the hike.

Beautiful garden and outstanding pizza restaurant on site. Staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful.

Love the ecofriendliness! All staff were super attentive. Any issue was solved. The phone was always picked up. The llamas and the chickens on the property was great. Easy free EV charging. Loved the classic architecture. The BED!!! Best most silky thread count. Was pure heaven to sleep there.
