SCP Mendocino Inn and Farm

It was a beautiful property. The grounds were lovely. We slept with our windows open on a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious.

Lovely helpful staff, beautiful location, plus it’s dog friendly. Definitely coming back!

Lovely spot

Loved this place! I would return here- I don't say that very often. The staff was really sweet. My room was beautiful. The grounds were beautiful. I got to feed chickens and hang out with llamas. The breakfast in the morning is so well done and comes with everything you need. Mendocino is super close. Very low key and relaxing. Beds are comfortable which is not something I ever say about hotels. I've stayed at a Fairmont and a Westin in the past two years- my bed here was better!

The SCP Mendocino Inn is quaint, charming, beautiful, and sits close to all the beautiful Mendocino village, Fort Bragg with its lovely Mendocino County botanical garden, and is a 5 minute walk to the ocean. The hotel provides free breakfast to your door each morning and offers tea, coffee, and other amenities on the house as well. We loved the entire area for its beauty and vastness of nature as you drive through a redwood forest for 30 minutes on the way to the hotel and then 15 minutes after driving through the redwood forest is the ocean, if you are coming from any point south of Little River, CA. We would absolutely stay at the SCP Mendocino Inn and Farm again!

The staff was not friendly, no daily room service, complimentary breakfast was pathetic, coffee was bad as well. The television in the room was so slow to respond to anything, it felt better to not turn it on at all…

Hotels.com said check-in was 4-7. We got a call as we pulled in the driveway saying that check-in ended at 5. Since we were there they checked us in. After that point there was no one on property who could provide any service. There was no ice in the building kitchenette. At 5:30 we texted the number provided for ice to the kitchenette but there wasn’t a response. At 8 pm we called a number and left a message with no response. I think at 5:30 pm there should be someone in the hotel to provide basic service. The room was spectacular but if something had been wrong there would have been no one to help us. The property is gorgeous but the service is lacking for a hotel of its size.

The room was very spacious, full of windows. Bed was very comfortable and the whole property was beautiful.

I loved our room. We had a fabulous view and the room was spacious. I was sad we didn’t have a tub. The potted plant on the dresser was dying which was not good. The wood for the fireplace was green and wouldn’t burn. They messed up on my breakfast as I am allergic to oats. We did like having breakfast delivered to our door. Don’t like egg dishes with onions. The property was funky but beautiful. The view from our room was gorgeous.
