It was a mid-week stay to have a base for hiking in the area. Just right for our purposes.

Amazing place for family :)

My wife and I will return as soon as possible. The food was made from scratch, wine on site and staff couldn't be nicer. The chickens and Llama's were awesome and the property is minutes from the ocean. Our accomodations were excellent and had a wood burning fireplace. A quaint excellent alternative to an average cookie cutter Holiday Inn Express.

Beautiful setting, clean room, friendly staff, everything was wonderful. Having a welcome note in the room and name on the parking spot were especially appreciated. The breakfast in the room was timely and delicious. We will definitely be back

This is my number 1 Favorite Pl. to stay when I’m in the area. Not only is it absolutely gorgeous, the rooms are clean. The staff is amazing and the breakfast in the morning is always five star.

Only a short walk to the beach, a redwood forrest and downtown Mendocino. Very quiet and peaceful.

Our stay was nice. Rooms were clean and the fireplace in our room was its best feature, although more wood could be provided for longer stays. Walking around the gardens was lovely. Although the llamas aren’t quite as friendly as everyone seems to say, they mostly liked to be kept to themselves as they’re not like sweet alpacas! Breakfast was served everyday at our door in a wire basket. We had the option of 8a or 9a drop-off but had to “return” the basket by 10a, which felt a bit rushed and like forced eating. We had the 9a drop-off and our coffees weren’t as piping hot as we hoped for. The breakfast offered was usually a variety of eggs n fruit or yogurt parfait with muffins. I would rate it 6 out of 10; good/fine but not amazing. Although the inn could use a little more charm and cozy, the stay overall was good, especially with its location close to downtown mendocino.
