Reef Haven Belize

Traveled to Ambergris Caye, Belize and Margaritaville Resort the first of April for 10 days. We fell in love with the island and the resort. It is an incredibly beautiful place, a bit remote but amazing in all ways. The people of Belize and the staff at our resort were warm, fun, professional, accommodating, and so incredible to be around. At the resort everything has a personal touch and is top notch - they know your name, they provide awesome service, from the moment of arrival until you they deliver you to the airport to depart, they greet you daily, ask for insights and opinions on services and go out of their way to make it a visit you wont forget. Our accommodations were clean, the rooms exceeded our expectations, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the value was priceless. We loved the relaxation, the adventures, the fishing, snorkeling, and kayaking. It was a place we plan to return to. I want to give a special and heartfelt thank you to Shawn, Ken, Flora, Berry, Jerry, Captain Salvador, Lori and the rest of the amazing staff (the list of names to long to mention) that made our trip exceptional and will be there to make yours exceptional as well. See you all on the next visit!!

We loved our time at Margaritaville!! The environment was peaceful, yet fun, and the staff were top notch! We had an amazing time there, and will not hesitate to go back!

My friends and I had dinner at the restaurant last Thursday and everything was delicious! The decor was beautiful and the staff was very attentive and friendly. They served a Passion Temptation cocktail that was awesome. I can't wait to return to Belize so that I can visit margaritaville again! Nancy Cruzen

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and a pleasure to stay in. I especially appreciated that our suite included a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The pool area near the bar was fantastic, our kids enjoyed it so much they spent most of their trip swimming. I also loved that there were fun and engaging activities provided for the children throughout our stay.

Very relaxing vacation Resort was super clean and very well maintained. Rooms were first class with no issues at all. Best was super friendly and helpful staff. Food was great with special local fare available and authentic. Had a wonderful time

With out a doubt the best vacation I have been on in 15+ years. Pulling up to the resort in a boat we were greeted by the general manager and another employee offering cold scented washcloths to refresh ourselves with on a warm evening. The accommodations were clean and spacious offering modern decor and amenities. There was so much to choose from to do including beautiful pool, relaxing beach, bicycles, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding and pickell ball to name a few. The dining menues offered a wide variety of selections with tasty, quality food. The staff at this resort was impeccable and impressive from the concierge to the wait staff, bartenders, grounds keepers to housekeeping. Everone was so kind and accommodating Special thanks to Shawn, Ken, Barry, Jerry, Flora and Lori for making it such a memorable trip. Already looking forward to the next visit!

Very friendly, attentive and helpful staff. The general manager Shawn works dusk to dawn and is non-stop working and helping everyone with ideas of many things to do. We were doing something every day (all day) and did not miss the TV. The food and drinks were delicious at the restaurant and 3 bars. The swim-up bar was lots of fun. We rented a golf cart for a couple of days and went to Secret Beach, saw lots of iguanas, went to town (San Pedro) and shopped and ate wonderful Belizean food. We had an amazing massage at St. Somewhere Spa there at the resort. We snorkeled at the Belize Barrier Reef and saw 100's of fish, a big green turtle, nurse sharks, and lots of stingrays. There was a BBQ on Sunday, and the food was delicious. They are the only resort we saw working hard daily to clear and maintain the shoreline of the natural Sargassum. Only wish we stayed longer.

The staff was beyond amazing. Very personable and attentive! Flor, Allen and Jerry made sure our every needs were met! The pool and swim up bar were great additions to the property. Room cleanliness was top notch! Definitely coming back again!

Came to Belize to fly fish and enjoyed staying at the Resort very much. Very clean and modern rooms. Food and drinks were very good. Every day when I came back from fishing Amanda had restored my messy room to perfect. Barry and Jerry in the bar were so friendly. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Sean the manager is really good. I’m coming back for sure.

Everything we wanted to do and away from the crowds. We snorkeled, road bikes, paddle boarded, took a golf cart to town which was an adventure in itself, went cave tubing on the mainland. And on top of all that enjoyed the peaceful, serenity haven on the sea. Best massage I’ve ever had and more!!
