Host & Stay - Knight Retreat

A great place to stay, very central but tucked away, so nice and quiet, very clean and comfortable, an exceptional shower, and a nice bottle of wine awaiting us on arrival.

I wasn't happy with having to take out an additional insurance especially when there was a few broken things already in the accommodation. There is parking available outside the accommodation, however be aware of local people parking for work and blocking cars in during the week, phone numbers are left in the cars so as you can phone the drivers to move the cars which had to be done on the Monday of our departure.

Beautiful apartment in a great position . Lovely , clean and comfortable . The space in the apartment is used very well . We were left a bottle of wine in fridge .

Only 2 toilet rolls for 3 days. Also wobbly ironing board(claim for blame waiting to happen there).

Location, price. Good Wi-Fi. Comfortable, the Good outweighs the comments below but be aware.

Advertised as ground floor, 6ish steep steps up to the patio entrance. Not easy to negotiate for my wife with ankle issues, nor me with baggage. Parking is as they say not available but the nearest car parking requires older people to get outside the property. The street clears of traffic after 6pm, however be aware if you leave your car outside the property after 7.am or earlier YOU WILL be blocked in. Best carpark is on the front, at the tourist office, a 24 ticket allows parking anywhere in Scarborough district. We found the property to be dark due to being built on the hill, so very little natural light enters, but there’s plenty of ceiling lights.

Excellent location right in the centre of Whitby. All well maintained facilities, has everything you need, and is very cosy.

The bed and the pillows for me were too hard. Could do with swopping out the wooden bed for a kingsize divan, more sleeping space and less cumbersome. Also long mirror would be good!

Loved the apartment, very clean and spacious. Great location, very close to beach. Had a great stay!!

Parking wasn't great but can't be helped.

Very new and modern with great taste and attention to detail. Location very central. Parking was not a problem 10 min walk away. (free street parking). Advise do not park directly outside or may get boxed in.

Paying £25 on top of final price before key box code is given for insurance. Alternative is £250 deposit minus £10 admin charge refundable after 2 weeks of checking out. Its understandable if some guests in the past have left damage I guess. Never had this before though.
