The Caroline

Tuvimos una experiencia sumamente negativa en este hotel. Las condiciones de las instalaciones distan mucho de lo que se muestra en las fotos publicadas en Hoteles.com; es evidente que requieren una actualización urgente o, al menos, una representación más honesta. Además, lo más grave fue que abrieron paquetes de compras en línea que recibimos y sustrajeron artículos de su interior. El hotel no ofreció ninguna explicación ni asumió responsabilidad alguna por lo sucedido. Definitivamente no recomendaría este lugar y espero que tomen medidas para mejorar tanto la seguridad como la transparencia en su oferta de hospejade

The property has indoor plumbing , hot water, a friendly front desk. Only someone at desk from 10 am-6 pm. Mold in shower, A/C did not work, bedspread was stained, only 1 burner on the stove worked, needed to wash everything. The refrigerator worked. The room needs to be updated badly. The A/C dripped water even though it did not cool the room. The paint was peeling off the wall due to the leaking A/C unit. Very close to beach and broadwalk. The room was cheap.

Kind of old school but nice and quaint and clean

Friendly staff, great location, simple hotel. Kitchenette is a bonus for avoiding restaurants all the time. Pay attention to the check in! The office closes at 6:30 pm and you can’t get in after that. Overall would recommend if you want a simple clean room with fantastic access to Hollywood beach and the boardwalk

Dropped off at the hotel. Nobody at the hotel. It was closed. No answer when we called.

Not fit to stay in

The Caroline is old and we heard it was purchased by a new owner and going to be tore down and redone. With that being said the gals in the office were the sweetest. As for the room. . it poured rain and we had a leak in the ceiling. They did offer us to move however, the tv did not work in the other room so we stayed. The place is old and we are ok with that however, it should have had upkeeps until sold. The shower had something by the drain where they had fixed it and it cut my foot. Love this area however, disappointed in the room and not being kept up. Again, the gals were amazing in the office and it is close to everything or you can get a Lyft or Uber for cheap.

The Caroline is a filthy and very disturbing place. The only thing clean about this place is the bedding. There is no privacy, all the windows have white sheer curtains without blinds or shades. Light from parking structure will enter at night time. The A/C was dripping all over the floor. The floors have never been scrubbed, they use the same mop without changing the water. Mold in the shower. Mold on the shower liner. Furniture is completely deteriorating.

Booking said 3 * but besides the shower & the air conditioner nothing was clean or worked. I would give them a 1/2 star. The place was old & dirty. Bed was a disgraced. Shower curtain was old & filthy. My tv remote was without batteries so I could not use during my stay. Upgrade your reviews for grading the facilities. This place knowone has spent money to repair in 20 years to maintain the 3 starts it got 20 years ago. The place was a total disaster. Dan Radford

Tv doesnt work. Had no towels. Doesnt look like photos. Not going to stay here again.
