Fantastic apartment in a beautiful location. Everything in town is so close to hand also.

There's noise from the tearoom downstairs during the day but this really wasn't an issue for us as we were out & about sightseeing all day - just something to consider if you're planning on sitting around during the daytime

Spacious for 2, well equipped kitchen diner overlooked a private patio and the tea room garden. We were generally at the property when the tea room was shut and it was perhaps too cold for customers to be outside so we weren't bothered by any noise or privacy issues. There is a separate lounge overlooking the road which was quiet in the evening. Co-op and Lidl within walking distance, as were a choice of eating out venues. Excellent take away stotties from the tea room were very handy.

Free parking outside the property is from 5pm to 9am. Free unlimited time road parking is available a little further away.

This was such a lovely, comfortble place to stay. We loved it. Super comfy bed.

A peeler and cafetiere would be useful additions.

A slight smell of cooking from the bakery but no drama

Great location in Pickering and plenty of space for two people. Beautiful decor and everything you need. The location meant we could explore Pickering and not have to use our car or public transport. We had a problem with the bath and this was dealt with the efficiently.

Step stairs and as the flat is above a bakery/cafe you can hear them come in at 7-30am and on one of the days the smell in the flat was strong from the cooking downstairs. No Tv in the kitchen diner. No parking and you can not park at Pickering Castle, you can park on the streets near Pickering parking. It would have been nice if there was a few essentials as there was only 2 sachets of sugar, 3 tea bags, 2 sachets of coffee and 4 sachets of milk on the fridge. It may seem a little thing but other places we have stayed have a welcome hamper and stocked with tea and coffee.

The flat was lovely done to high standard,there was an issue with cobwebs and previous guest had left dirty washing in the machine.was told parking free at pickering castle,but only for visitors and opens 10am to 6pm.there is 1 hr parking on the road opposite during the day and free 6.30pm to 9am,we did manage to find parking on the road at caslegate,for the 10 days.need to be aware that the bedroom is up stairs and bathroom downstairs,wich is a bit challenging for getting up a few times a night.We did have a lovey stay regardless.

Absolutely stunning little property. Furnished in the style of the railway across the road. Warm, comfortable and blissfully peaceful.
