Very good location clean like home to Home

Just the toilet was downstairs but we managed not really bad issue

Tricky to park during day but it wasn't a problem -ample car parks

Excellent proximity to shops and restaurants.beautiful town. Very clean. Friendly people.

Great location, very nice property

Wish I had stayed longer

Excellent location directly opposite the north Yorkshire moors railway station (you can get the train into Whitby for the day) and just a few minutes walk from the main street.. Comfortable and clean accommodation with well equipped kitchen. Free parking available a short walk away (bit of a steep walk to get back to it but this wasn't a problem for us). There is some free overnight parking (6pm-8am) opposite the property plus you can park there for 1 hour during the day so you can unload the car/reload at end of your stay.

Property is above a tearoom/bakery and they share an entrance. Felt strange letting yourself into an empty shop but wasn't a problem. At least 3 of the light bulbs in the property needed replacing so kitchen and bathroom were a little darker than should be. We found the induction hob a bit tricky on first morning as hadn't used one before so a user guide for that would have been helpful.

Apartment was large with full amenities, living room with large tv, kitchen with large dining room leading out to outside veranda with table and chairs. Bedroom was upstairs in attic and again large with 3 seater sofa. Perfect location in Pickering town centre. Downside was stairs to bedroom were steep and bathroom was downstairs from bedroom which wasn't ideal. Advertised as free parking (don't know were that came from) you could park for an hour if you were lucky enough to find a space between 6.00am to 6.00pm outside accommodation and as you could imagine long term parking was difficult in town. Staff in the bakery below were fantastic and helpful . The booking agency Host & Stay bombard you with emails 14+ to date and are very confusing with repeat text.

Well equipped, comfortable and stylish. Great location. The only downside is the parking especially if you don’t want to pay.

Lovely comfortable apartment in a perfect location

Lovely, spacious place. Well located in the centre of Pickering, especially if you're getting the steam train from the station opposite the house!
