The stairs

The location, working tv, well equipped kitchen, big enough table, WiFi, clean towels and bedding.

We visited last year. Compared to that visit we noticed there were more damp patches on walls, bathroom wall furniture needed repairing, there were too many dog hairs covering the carpet and furniture, the kitchen floor hadn't been cleaned properly because it was covered in bits, the sink hadn't been cleaned and a towel from a previous visitor was hanging behind my bedroom door.

Will Never use Host & Stay property ever again The apartment was nice but will never use any accommodation run by Host & Stay ever again. Absolutely peppered by dozens emails before and during our stay. Wanted £250 bond but, if we didn’t damage anything they’d be good enough to return £240 of it a keep £10 themselves. Accommodation included Free Parking for the duration of our stay through a scratch card system. We scratched the card perfectly and parked exactly where informed. but still ended up with a parking ticket because they’d provided us with the WRONG scratch card. I phoned up and they admitted their mistake, sending a new one over to our accommodation (a little to late) and told me to email the ticket to them. I emailed it over to them and the squirming started. Apparently T&C’s state I should know it was the wrong permit and inform them. I have no idea how I should know its the wrong permit as I’ve never used one before. Basically they made a simple mistake but refused to do the decent thing pay the fine. Never again.

Beautifully presented apartment, whether if you were staying for a few nights or a week there was everything you could have needed, even a washing machine. The apartment is ideal for a couple or small family.

The only thing we disliked was the stairs up to the apartment.

The Location was fine

There were 52 steps up to the flat, as we are in our seventies it was difficult to get our belongings up the stairs. Also pillows on our double bed were flat

On top floor 5 floors up with no lift no mention of this on Booking.com..(came home a day early as had an injury which made stairs really difficult) Tiny bathroom.. No parking "scratch card" left for us.. Living room small. No idea what to do with recycling. Also the Company should be more transparent about extra insurance fees..

Great views over the sea. Good bedrooms and small but cosy lounge area.

Lots of stairs may be a problem for some. One issue was that we went for 3 days without dishwashing liquid despite requests to management. Way too many emails sent about simple procedural issues. Very tiny shower room.

Close to restaurants and attractions, cosy, clean and good facilities.

A little more information on how to recycle and control the heating would be useful.

The flat was clean, and plenty of items, eg tea/coffee milk extra

The flat was on the top floor, but advert did not say 5 flights of stairs, which was a problem for my husband who has health issues, so had to stay in flat for the duration of our stay
