Aston Sorong Hotel & Conference Center

Excellent breakfast buffet. Lovely pool area. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Spa staff was rude. Booked a 7 pm massage only to be told inhad no appointment when I showed up. Roof top bar is beautiful butnwe waited 45 minutes for food only to have it be cold when it arrived. They could do better in those areas. Cant beat the location for airport transit stay.

Ok, so this is the best hotel in Sorong in terms of the overall comfort. The rooms are very pleasant and modern. It's clean and the pool area is also good. However, my room was on the top floor and I was unable to even think about sleeping until the very loud music from the roof bar had ended at 11pm. This was very unfortunate as I had an early flight the next morning and had to get up at 5am. I was also disappointed by the restaurant menu where there were very few vegetarian options so I had to order Grab Food.

Hotel Ashton is a high-end gem in Sorong luxurious, spotless, and incredibly well-run. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel offers great amenities, including a beautiful swimming pool and an impressively fast, free laundry service (often done within hours). Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. An absolute must-stay when in Sorong.
