Shigakogen Olympic Hotel

Value for money accommodation.

The interior decor and ski lockers are dated, if you don’t mind staying in a Hotel that looks like you traveled back in time by 20 years, this is a good choice.

Location is perfect! It is just across the road from the chairlift. Basically ski in ski out. Room was a good size and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good with plenty of variety of both western and Japanese food. Large onsen, perfect way to end a day on the slopes. Close to restaurants. Friendly staff who will help you with transport getting around the area. Ski rental in the building.

Some of the rooms don't have showers so check when booking. My room did have a bathroom, but like so many Japanese hotels, it was very small and not designed for a tall person, so I showered in the onsen.

Very small room, even the low level heating makes room hot.

朝ごはんがバラエティ豊かで美味しいかった。 スキーゲレンデが見える近さで良かった。 ゲレンデの休憩所が近く夜食にラーメン頂きました。

施設は古さを感じました。 お風呂は大きくて良かったけど、浴槽と洗い場が近くて気をつけながら入りました。
