Vang Vieng Garden Resort

Highly recommend staying here. Good room, good price with breakfast, great tour advice and quiet. Big space to park our car too. They offered a free upgrade to the nicer room, amazing mountain view's, no extra charge. they are happy all the time.

Totally agree with all other reviews posted here. A perfect place to stay with great helpful staffs. I felt safe and home staying there and happy to recommend it. Jus 2 kms from the centre but they helped to rent scooter, reasonable price.

Had a very good time there. Good cheap room with breakfast. Nice helpful staffs helping with local tours, calling tuk tuk, arranging train tickets to Luangprapang and evisa to Vietnam. So helpful!

Overall we had an excellent stay, such a gorgeous hotel! They helped us book rockclimbing, ziplining, scooter and transportation to the airport.

Well it was still very new, there wasn’t a receptionist. If you needed to come in contact, you would have to look out for the owner around the property. It could be because it’s off season though. We also only got our room cleaned once during 5 nights, and our aircondition was not working so well.

Room, staff, breakfast, tour services,... everything was great. I am happy to recommend this place

Where do I start… This place is unfinished and very dirty. We got checked in to a room with gecko poop on the bed and towels, got moved to a different room but was still very dirty. Dust everywhere, mold in the shower. Safe didnt work, TV full with scratches, dirty fridge, exposed wiring and more. The workers start 7am with there pool construction work. In 5 days the room was not cleaned once, no new towels, no new soap etc. We had to ask for new toilet paper ourselves. The staff was nice, if you could find them. Better part of the day there was no one to be found (basically there was the manager, breakfast lady and the workers). The location is 20+ minute walk from the center, in the evening no tuktuks to be found (Vang Veng has no taxis) so a warm long walk is inevitable. For now avoid this place. It is unfinished, dirty and just a poor experience overall. Hopefully it will be better in the future, once finished (if ever, sadly). It has so much potential but not sure if it will ever live up to it. The price-point is also very high for what you get in the deluxe room, the basic room is ok. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

Very big room, clean and comfortable bed. The view is amazing! Very friendly and helpful receptionist.

Everything was great and nothing to complain about. The hotel is about 2 kms away from the noisy centre so we could sleep very well. The staff helped to rent scooter with reasonale price. We tried to manage and buy train tickets to Luanprapang by our selves but we could not do it. Luckily the staffs arranged the tickets for us, which was excellent. We stayed for 4 nights and got free breakfast everyday. Even the swimming pool is not ready yeat but we could use the pool at their cousin resort, just opposites this hotel. We did not mind at all. Our room cost was only US$ 18/ night (big, clean, with A/C and hot shower and with amazing moutain views). Highly recommend thi place to everyone coming to Vang Vieng.
