Great location. Comfortable bed. Good price. All over a good experience.

I knew not to expect amazing things for £40. For its money, it did what it needed to do!

Felt as though I had to leave long before check out. Cleaner was in at the crack of dawn hoovering, message received from the owner at 0721 “When you’re ready to leave please put the keys back”.

Nothing dont bother staying here

Had booked a specific room and had been placed in a different room, there were many men who kept standing outside of my room and a man shouting downstairs for around 2 hours in a different language late at night. There were holes in the towels and room was very dusty felt, was just about an upgrade from a prison cell. Work was going on in the kitchen which included hammering and talking that went on for hours that I was unaware of. Host didn’t seem to care that i felt extremely unsafe I had to sleep with the drawers pushed against my door and had a booked a hotel within the first night as I could not have stayed there another night. Texted the host at 12pm that i will not be coming back and would like a refund. To then which I did not get a reply until i texted again after 6pm to Which they said sorry you felt unsafe no refund and that was it had not one care in the world.

Behind the headboard had black mold, bedsheets had stains on them and as soon as you entered the property it stunk of cigarettes and the smell never seem to go away. I ended up leaving half way through the stay as the room below me were shouting up the stairs, in the hallway and enjoying each other so loudly in their room, I couldn’t sleep as you just hear everything going on in each room.

The location was okay. Not hard to find. Stayed a couple hours with my girlfriend didn’t spend the night. Just cos we had other plans. Sheets were clean, bathroom was okay, the bed was sturdy & the room was freshly cleaned. Would definitely visit again.

The bathroom needs a bath mat or better still… a shower curtain as the bathroom is completely rugged. It’s all wet to the touch.
