Busy Bee - Guest House - Self Service

The property & facilities were extremely clean & presentable. Front door was secure as had to be locked at all times. The facilities were amazing including use of washing machine, dryer, tea/coffee making utensils etc. Also there was simple food available like bread butter packet food. Downstairs communal living room attached to kitchen was like a home from home. Shared bathroom facilities were clean & secure.

Actual room door did not lock (room 4) Central heating was on constantly at a persistent heat. Another 'stayer' unfortunately was consuming cannabis even though the building was a No Smoking zone. Also in room Kettle was disgusting as descaler had been left in kettle which caused electrics to trip on boil as a health and safety concern.

The room was acceptable to sleep in! Beds were well presented. Room looked clean.

There was a damp mould on the wall just between the TV mount and a coffee table.

Perfect for a night's kip

It was booked for a colleague and they had no complaints

The comfort is okay, very clean accommodation.

The room was so so small and the place stunk of drugs Nothing like the picture For £47 we were well and truly ripped off I would never stay there again

(1)Landlady came into my room *and painted it* while I was out. Just dumped my stuff on the bed. She didn't get it that this was not ok. Paint splashes on bedlinen, carpet, furniture.(2) Booking.com allows guests to book in at any time, it seems, and three people rocked up at *0420* which was alarming.(3) Lots of cobwebs (4) Bedlinen so thin it was see-through - and no mattress or pillow covers, eeeew.(5) Bathroom needs a deep clean.
