Sharing the bathroom, but it wasn't actually a problem

I will not recommend. The photos are deceiving. The room is so tiny. Better pay an extra £5 and stay in another hotel, and make yourself comfortable.

The host/landlady was very welcoming and friendly, She told us to treat her place like our own which was lovely. Keys were easy to retrieve from key box upon arrival. Upon arrival the property was relatively nicely decorated and tidy. Room was tidy with a lovely diamond theme, Bed was clean on first inspection.

Upon arrival, We noticed the toilet was blocked but that was quickly sorted by the landlady so not a massive issue. After a walk around the house, We noticed a sink full of dishes left by other people staying at the guest house. The carpet in our room was a trip hazard as it didn’t fit the room properly and kept coming up, Especially for my partner who is still recovering from a broken leg. We found an insect crawling on the bed as well as the bottom of the mattress and walls being covered in mould and the bathroom wasn’t kept tidy by other people

Kettle had days old cloudy urine in it. Carpet rode up when door opened. Guy downstairs decided to have an argument on the phone at about 2am. No blackout curtains so street lights shone through
