"Acceptable but can be much better"

5.0

- It was cozy and bigger than most places - Location is great - You have all the building for yourself as there is a barbershop downstairs but everything is yours

- There is no washer - Handles and faucets were wobbly - Spiderwebs are everywhere - Cleaning company is not that good. There were crumbs on the couch with some wrappers on the floor - Shower had molds - Windows are old and are not sound proof - You can hear people outside even if they were just walking

"Gorgeous little apartment"

8.0

The apartment is in a great location. I loved the views from the windows with three different aspects. It has everything it needs practically and is super stylish AND comfortable, which is a rare combination.

If I'm pushed I'd say it was a little noisy from the streets below due to no double glazing, ear plugs (that i always carry with me) made that a non issue.

"Overall, while we really enjoyed our time in Clifton, we would not choose to stay in this apartment again."

5.0

Stayed Friday to Monday in April 2026. The location of the property is excellent, right in the heart of Clifton. There’s a lovely café directly opposite the front door, along with plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby, which made it a great base for exploring the area.

However, with that central location comes a significant downside: the noise. I had read previous reviews mentioning this but assumed they might have been overly sensitive, in reality, they were probably being quite polite. The noise levels were very high. In the attic bedroom, it genuinely felt as though people outside were in the room with us. In the living room, conversations and activity from the barber shop below could be heard clearly, as if they were inside the apartment. We kept the windows closed at all times, so it’s not a case of outside noise coming in through open windows. I can only imagine this would be even more challenging during the summer months when the area is busier and windows would likely need to be open. Privacy is another issue. The kitchen and living room windows have no blinds, meaning people sitting in the café or outside nearby pubs can see straight in. On one occasion, I walked into the kitchen in a towel and made direct eye contact with someone outside, which was quite uncomfortable. While there are curtains in the living room, they completely block out natural light, so it becomes a choice between privacy and daylight. The apartment itself could also benefit from some maintenance and a more thorough clean. Unfortunately, cleanliness on arrival was below expectations. There were long hairs on the sofa, which also had a cigarette burn and hadn’t been properly cleaned. The throw on the sofa had a noticeable unpleasant smell and did not seem freshly washed. There was visible dust on woodwork, the bathroom door, and the metal stairs. Some cutlery had not been properly cleaned, with food residue still present. The windows were also quite dirty, both inside and out. In addition, there are areas where the walls appear to need attention, possibly due to past water damage.

"Lovely flat in a great area!"

8.0

The flat's location was great - we stayed midweek so although a busy street it wasn't too noisy. Flat was really attractive, comfortable and well-designed.. We parked in West End about £20 for each 24 hours, and if you get a day ride bus ticket you can get on and off anywhere in Bristol for under £7. We walked across the Clifton Suspension Bridge in the morning - the museum on the other side is very interesting and the Leigh Woods area good for a walk. We also went for a walk one evening to see it lit up which was lovely. We recommend Burra and Saffron for breakfasts and Kibou for dinner in Clifton itself. Lots of choice in Bristol as a whole to see, eat and do.

The heating was set a little high and the pillows a little too soft for our preference.

"Cool apartment in a wonderful location!"

10.0

The apartment is in a great location in the heart of Clifton. Lots of good restaurants and cafes nearby and very close to the suspension bridge. There are lots of green spaces nearby for walking like Ashton Court. The apartment is nicely decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a very spacious shower. The property does have a spiral staircase to get up to the bedroom and bathroom which wasn't a problem for us but might be for people more unsteady on their feet. A lovely apartment in the heart of a wonderful part of Bristol. I would definitely recommend it and would stay again.

Everything was great. Thank you!
