"Really liked this quirky accommodation. Good location, well equipped and a comfortable stay."

8.0

Comfortable. Very well equipped (mostly) and very spacious. Central heating was not on,but the supplied oil radiators kept the place very warm (this was February). Big TV (catch-up and streaming only - no aerial) . Very quiet at night. Good Location (and interesting) - we weren't disturbed by any noise in the morning either.

Mostly minor things. It could have been better cleaned - it wasn't terrible, but we came across a few long black hairs ( bathroom floor, on the bed) which suggested not properly cleaned, also, some of the glasses weren't too clean. Could have done with a dish towel to dry dishes ( but it had everything else like sponge\scourer , washing up liquid, instant hot water etc). Bathroom fan very noisy - reverberates around the whole building when on !

"Experience that is totally awesome"

10.0

It was surprisingly cosy considering it was a Nissan hut, but it was lovely set out, bed was comfortable, the setting was a total experience

The doors felt secure, but felt there could be a lock inside to secure more

"Card games and bunkers"

Loved the location, walking around the camp and all the history, and access to the hills around. Hut spacious and comfortable.

Sofa bed is a squeeze for 2, no chance of siblings lasting a night without a fight. Only other thing I can fault is that knives were blunt...

"Hidden Gem steeped in history"

Location was ideal for visiting local walks, other Perthshire towns and the Trossachs. The accommodation was cosy and spacious.

Missed a mirror in the bedroom, but bar that nothing

"Disappointing accommodation in a fantastic, scenic and historic area."

3.0

Comrie is beautiful. The camp is sited in a beautiful area around one mile from the village. The hut is of historic interest and is a good base to tour the area. Basic accommodation with minimal fuss. We made the best of things and enjoyed the area outside the camp. Parking was plentiful and near the huts.

The hut was not clean, especially the shower facility. The hut site is used by businesses and was noisy. It was like being on the edge of an industrial estate. Neither bed was comfortable. One was too hard the other not suitable as a bed, it was flimsy and noisy with harsh springs. The experience was disappointing as the area is so special. The sales literature said the hut had a washing machine in it. It does not. Came home to have a rest from the noise and the uncomfortable beds. Sales literature should mention that there is a TV but that you do not receive any "normal" channels. Was instructed in the literature to load the dishwasher before we departed. There was no dishwasher in the property we stayed in. Overall lacks attention to detail.

"A unique opportunity to experience a different kind of stay, complete with historical significance."

8.0

This property is an upgraded ex-POW camp used to house enemy prisoners during WW2. It was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The kitchen/living room featured a well equipped kitchen area, a large Smart TV, Wifi, and a comfortable sofa and chairs. Outside the front door each of these properties has its own picnic table and benches.

I found the double bed very hard, I wished I had brought a mattress-topper.
