Brilliant self catering unit, everything you need and very clean. Good central location.

Only one thing, could do with a larger mirror in the bathroom and a full length mirror in the bedroom. Apart from that, it was perfect.

"Great location, superb facilities, would return!"

9.0

Everything was immaculately clean, with plenty of space and excellent facilities. Great location and really liked the outside seating, which allowed us to enjoy the sunshine! Everything you need in the kitchen, all good quality. It’s just a short stroll from the main village of Comrie where there are a couple of shops etc, and not too far from Crieff (around 7 miles) for a decent choice of restaurants. Very interesting site to have a wander.

While we were there it was REALLY hot and the hut itself was boiling - but if we opened the front and back doors for a bit the through-draught cooled things down. Not a complaint as such, but maybe worth thinking about a cooling fan for each hut? Although it’s probably not that often that the weather is so good!

"Cosy quiet and quaint"

8.0

Great location and characterful accommodation. Very roomy and comfortable with everything required for a longer stay. The hut was cosy and well insulated. The camp is quiet and peaceful and the history of the place is fascinating. There are some lovely walks to do around the area and the village of Comrie has a great pub/restaurant and good shops and galleries.

Central heating sadly wasn't available, but the electric heaters kept the place cosy. The hut is part of the camp and visitors can be inquisitive. There is a cattle grid at the entrance to the camp which you will hear vehicles crossing, although we did become accustomed to the noise.

The hut was fantastic and really exceeded our expectations in terms of quality, comfort and facilities. It was so cosy and we felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. The location is very interesting and well worth a look around. There is also a lovely walk from the camp along the river to Comrie. The kids absolutely loved the sports field and learning about the history of the camp. We plan to return later this year!
