Very interesting location and ideal for a quiet break. Lots of decent walks around the town (Several 2-6 mile circuits) and for the more adventurous a couple of Munro's too. The POW camp was certainly something different and the Nissan huts were very clean, warm, spacious and comfortable. Everything we needed for self catering was there and the shower was hot. The Village of Comrie had a pub/Hotel(which we frequented) and a selection of wee shops to facilitate some tasty packed lunches for our walks. They've even had a well stocked pet shop to ensure our dog didn't miss out. Everyone we met was very friendly and we all had a great time. The staff at the camp were helpful and on hand if needed. Apparently there was some sort of issue with the Bio-mass boiler but they were on hand with extra heaters before we even knew there was an issue. The staff were fantastic.

It was perfect for what we needed. It's a wee trek into the town but we were there to walk, so that didn't bother us.

the site is off season so not much happening, no shop, cafe not open

I can’t comment unfortunately as the really heavy snow on the 27th Dec 22 made it completely impossible to reach the camp for our 2 day stay. But Clark Anderson Properties have kindly allowed us to book another 2 day break at another time, you can’t get better service than that, very grateful👍👍
