Cultybraggan Hut 35

I went on many a camps here when it was a training camp. This has changed so much. Comfort is 100 times better from the army bead and pit belly stove for heating. Great to reminisce, peaceful and quiet. No complaints

Nothing to mention, home from home

Hut 35 was clean, well equipped, and warm.

The sofa bed was really uncomfortable, which was a big problem as the occupant was a 73 year old!! The museum wasn’t open to visitors which was one of the attractions for us when making the booking.

How quiet it was and stunning scenery

No out of hours emergency numbers for problems in the huts

The location was really nice. The near by shops were a treat to discover.

The sound of power tools at around 9am were a bit much.

Lovely hut, much larger than expected. The fixtures and fittings are new and good quality. Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful surroundings. Parking very close to the hut. Would return in warmer weather but not really suitable for winter.

There was central heating but this couldn’t be turned on, so reliant on two small portable radiators, which made it cold. It’s a shame the decor isn’t more in keeping with a 1940s style, which feels a missed opportunity.

Great level of comfort in a historic building. Great location for exploring the area as well as the local history. Lots of walking routes available nearby.

Nothing we disliked at all, just a couple of things that would make it even better - a wall mirror somewhere in the bathroom (husband got a bit fed up shaving bent over) plus rehang the fridge door so it opens correctly.

The shower was either extremely hot or cold, no in between, and pressure was extremely low. The laundry code did not work

The apartment was cozy, nicely designed, spacious and very clean.

A perfect choice if you want to support local community who wants to repurpose old military camp.

Absolutely everything. Just amazing wee place.!! Can't fault anything at all.!!
