Swan Valley Serviced Apartments

The property was run down, disgusting, took 40 minutes after calling to get our entry instructions made us late for our event. Blood stains on the doona. Broken glass under the couch (which we had to move to open a sliding door to air our apartment) Sticky floor, grubby wine glasses, broken blinds, mildew and hair in the shower. The list goes on!!

Spacious Well located at the end of the complex. Well located for our needs in regards to Perth and easy to get to. Well designed Something I would be interested in purchasing if the owner ever wants to sell.

1/ Security.  The large glass sliding door on the entry side of the building does not lock and leaves the entire apartment unsecured.  Requires immediate attention. 2/ Filthy mattresses on the single beds, and the mattresses were well used and saggy.   3/ Air conditioner iced up due to the screens being so dirty that the air could not circulate.  We removed the screens so that we could used the air conditioner, and left them on the table for cleaning. 4/ Exhaust fans in the bathroom and laundry areas require cleaning to function well and minimise mould issues. 5/ Shower screen was filthy, there is mould on the inside of the step over part of the shower and hard water stains are on the floor.  6/ Generally unclean.  Cupcake under the bed in the master bedroom, Cheetos and pens etc under the seat cushions, plates were dirty in the cupboard, what appears to be kids hand marks down the walls and on the doors, grease dripping from the rangehood 7/ Outside area in need of a clean, the pavers are really marked and untidy and it has been a while since someone has swept the area. 8/ There was inadequate glasses for 3 people let alone 6 people.  Only two drinking glasses and 3 mismatched wine glasses, only one teaspoon etc.  An audit of the crockery and cutlery should be completed.  You should not have to bring your own glass or spoon. 9/ Fire Alarm - On Saturday Morning 22nd at approximately 7am the fire alarm went off in the apartment whilst we were all asleep.  A subsequent inspection of the apartment and surrounds found no indication of smoke or fire.  The next morning Sunday 23rd November at 5.30am the fire alarm again went off whilst we were asleep.  Again we could not find any reason for the alarm going off, and it stopped on its own without any intervention from us. 10/ Cost over $1400 for two nights.

Nice clean good location

Main bed was reasonably comfortable.

Air conditioner leaking water all over the floor. Couch in lounge room is very old, worn out and like sitting on a rock. Needs to be replaced. Blinds in main bedroom all busted up and bent, so light streams in the windows in the morning. Curtains in the lounge do not even cover the whole window. For what it is and its location this apartment is very expensive, would not book again.
