Santa Lucia Suites - Barranco

Clean and the river in front was great. Staff was sweet and accommodating.

It was warm and the bedroom didn’t have a window. Also, we didn’t really get the room we reserved but the hotel DID offer us alternatives.

Great location, clean and specious apartment.

Strange noise during the night (we didn’t know what is that, maybe wood doors).

The hotel is located in a very beautiful and exquisite location in Cuenca. There's a river running right in front of your suite. It's heavens to wake up, open the door to your own porch, sit, drink your coffee and watch and listen to the beautiful sound of the river as it snakes across your view. There are also lots of restaurants and shops to go dining and shoping. The suite itself is luxurious. As you enter your suite, you are greeted by a very large livingroom with two big sofas and a large television, followed by a squeaki clean kitchen that contains all of the ammenities from home: refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, plates, cups... The bedroom is a place of beauty. You will sleep in what is practically your master bedroom with a huge comfortable bed, with a shower and bathroom. Plenty of closet space, along with an iron and ironing board. There is also a washing machine that is also a dryer. I totally enjoyed my suite.

I didn't like the fact that I forgot to take my shampoo bottle. I tried getting it back, but was told that the person that does the cleaning had not seen the shampoo bottle that I had forgotten to take. So make sure that you don't leave anything behind cause there's a good chance that it may not be returned. The shampoo bottle that I forgot cost me over $20 dollars.

La propiedad es muy bonita, cómoda, limpia y siempre he tenido una buena atención por parte del personal. Sin embargo en mi ULTIMA visita, porque será la última, personal de la propiedad abrió la puerta de la suit mientras descansaba, para entrar a sacar una camisa de otro huésped que han dejado secando en la secadora de la suit que me asignaron. Esa terrible falta de respeto y de seguridad hizo que decida no volver a reservar en esta propiedad.
