Waterfront Seaview Hotel Apartments

Great location and clean. But the place needs a revamp. The toilet is almost coming off the wall, the microwave didn't work and I needed to sterilise my baby bottles. The curtains are hanging off in places. The portacot was half built when arrived. So wasn't happy for what we paid. Was cool to see the cruise in the morning.

Most of the lights in the property were not working so it was dark. Only one roll of toilet paper was provided. Could not use the couch.

The toilet seat was broken and not attached, it looked like it was falling out the wall and to flush it you had to put you hand into a cut out bit of wall and pull a lever up. The fold out bed was really uncomfortable because the mattress was bent up at the end and then dipped in the middle so you had to sleep sideways to avoid the centre pole The kitchen sink tap system was not attached to the bench top It was a real shame as the location is perfect but the apartment definitely needs some maintenance before its next booking

Parking was crazy. There was no communication to say there was limited parking due to ship porting. Broken furniture. No Seaview. One key for 5 adults. No communication about the bond that needs to be paid before you can actually find the building until the day of arrival. The fold out couch needs a trip to the dump. Would not recommend. I am quite embarrassed as a kiwi to know overseas visitors book this venue and this is what we have to offer.

Location great

Room is dated, curtains are old & has some broken parts. Toilet was broken and almost falling off the wall (it’s a floating toilet). Parking is $60 24hrs but the app is confusing and I ended up paying 12hrs $50 - night $9 - early bird $20 - and still got a parking ticket $80. It’s been waived as I had the wrong car rego number… but it was still a hassle to write to the fines office to reverse the ticket. Overall I would likely stay here again but I hope the curtains, toilet gets an update.

Location

Hard to find. The name of the property advertised is not the same name on the building. I walked around the area twice and had to ask a local to help. The key pad to the apartment does not work on first touch - you have to keep working it until it shows up. A light is out in the bathroom.

Location amazing, great layout, clean and couldn’t hear any city noise!

They need a handyman to pop in and change about 4 lightbulbs and some wear and tear on the cupboards as the doors fall off the lounge and room dressers. The fold out couch is definitely on its last legs too.
