Waterfront Seaview Hotel Apartments

Great location!

Terrible. The hotel informed us that the room was unavailable with only 60 minutes to spare before we where due to check in leaving us stranded in Auckland with no accomodations to go to. We booked months in advance and had to find a new hotel while also trying to look after two small children at auckland airport. We where very unhappy with how this was handled with no followup to our attempt to contact the hotel, no one would answer their contact number, and there was no offer to help find alternative accomodations or offer of compensation for now having to pay double due to shortnotice booking near to christmas. If i could rate this place 0 I would. Bloody awful!!!

Location is great. Have stayed in this building 3 times before in other apartments.

The apartment was not clean at all!! Condom packet in the bedside drawer, clothes left in the cupboard. Dirt and dust everywhere, had not been cleaning thoroughly in a very long time. Rusty dirty outdoor furniture, very few kitchen amenities plates etc... Dirty ripped old couch. Stains all over the carpet. Broken cupboard doors. Mouldy bathroom. The place was a health hazard! Contacted the management and they asked me to pay them more money so they could give me a refund? Was not giving them a cent more. No other refund or compensation offered. Also found a mens wedding band under the couch, left for management to find owner.

Location was the only positive

One bedroom had wet carpet that smelt of vomit/sick, also had very dirty window sills and broken cupboards. The 2nd apartment we booked the front door you couldn’t close and when contacted the owners they said you just need to lift the door to close it, when in fact the hinges were loose, an easy fix that the owners should have fixed. I wouldn’t be booking these apartments again as the condition of these are not up to scratch
