Tuggle's Gap Roadside Inn - Blue Ridge Parkway

Nick, the co-owner, is very accommodating and personable. Ruffles Gap Roadside Inn (from the 1940s) is campy, cool and totally updated. Did I mention his coffee?!

The people were really friendly and helpful, the room was perfect, and the breakfast was great. The location near the Blue Ridge Parkway was good too

Newly renovated rooms were perfect! Very clean and comfortable. I called to see if I could get in an hour early due to a scheduling conflict. The owner allowed me to get in early and showed me how to order breakfast. Such a homey environment! I was alone and felt safe in a new area, and would bring my family back for the great location!

All I can say is, WOW! Very nice room, super clean, very quiet, great communication with owner. Looking forward to made to order breakfast.

Such an adorable and beautifully maintained recently renovated motel. Amazing hospitality by the owner and just such a peaceful spot. Highly recommend.

Location cannot be beat. Right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Historic motel, but totally modernized - we're talking smart tvs, usb wall outlets, totally renovated rooms. It was absolutely ideal. Its definitely the perfect mix of old school historic and modern. Nick was so accomodating to us as well! We came in the off season and we had a wonderful experience even though the entire town was shut down. We appreciate the hospitality, and will absolutely be back in the summer! This is the place to stay in Floyd, or for Fairy Stone, it was an easy 30 minute drive to the park.

Very pleasant stay

This was our second time staying and we can’t wait to go back again! We just love this property and going over to Floyd and Meadows of Dan. The staff is great, the breakfast is excellent! Highly recommend!
