Tuggle's Gap Roadside Inn - Blue Ridge Parkway

What a lovely roadside Inn - perfectly located near the Blue Ridge Parkway and the town of Floyd. Beautifully renovated rooms; friendly staff and a great breakfast. So glad we found this little gem 😊

Historic, friendly and beautiful

The lady at check-in seemed overwhelmed, and gave us the keys to wrong unit. She also mentioned that breakfast the following morning didn't start till 8AM, even though the sign at the entrance stated it was at 7AM (plus I had emailed a week prior asking about breakfast, where I was told that a hot breakfast would be served at 7). Thinking she was mistaken, we didn't further question it. The room was functional and clean, but with two double beds in it, storage and maneuverability was very limited at best. The following morning, being ready for our hot breakfast at 7, we found out the hard way that the lady the day prior was indeed correct and the sign and the email had provided the incorrect information. Breakfast was indeed starting at 8AM. As we were there for a bike event, starting at 8:30 that caused a little bit of a logistical and fueling situation. Not sure if I'd stay here again, especially considering the price for one night.

The staff at Tuggle's Gap were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing! The rooms are basic but very clean and updated. Easy ride into downtown Floyd.

An absolutely beautiful setting right next to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Room and surrounding outdoor area was clean and inviting. Breakfast was great! A great getaway!

Loved the newly renovated, super clean place.. people are great too! Really enjoyed their breakfast buffet.

On our Blueridge Parkway trip, we wanted to stay in an Old School accomodation, without it being just old! The Roadside Inn was a very comfortable night’s rest,and the home cooked breakfast in the morning was lovely. Nick was very knowledgeable about local history, and advise for the rest of our trip. Close to Floyd but not Floyd. Well remodel. Nice towels and bathroom rug. Ok breakfast. For the price a better breakfast and a fridge in the room. The pillows were too thick and spongy. Nice lodging but not at this price.
