Rooms had all been renovated, so that was nice. However, the room and bedding felt damp like there was a humidifier running constantly. Even the toilet paper felt damp during the middle of the night. The rest of the room and amenities were good.

Very quiet and quaint motel. Was surprised to know our breakfast would be included in our stay. However, be careful of the juice glasses.

Wonderful place to stay. The room was so clean and comfortable. The owner was so friendly and offered advice for the area. Hes very proud of his town. Delicious buffet breakfast with fresh offerings included. Would stay no where else.

This place is a gem. The staff at check in and out was super friendly. The moment I walked in it felt very comfortable and modern. From the smart TV to the wifi hub in room; the remote controlled mini split A/C system to the snack basket; the comfortable bed to the wide array of toiletries available. The linens are quite nice as well. The little book that gives you a taste of the inn’s history, restaurants and things to do nearby is great. There is a fire pit on site and wood available at the restaurant/check-in. Breakfast was a delight. Buffet style eggs, biscuits, sausage, gravy, crispy bacon, grits, fresh fruit and an array of bread were available. There was a wide selection of cereal and the OJ tasted fresh squeezed. Though it probably wasn’t—it’s an excellent touch. The coffee mugs are reminiscent of roadside diners and it was a great way to round out the stay. Travelers should eat outside on the deck overlooking the lush greenery surrounding the inn. I have only one con. It’s a simple one but one that’s imperative to improve. The room I stayed in had three windows which was amazing for light—but not a single one was locked. Each one slid open easily since they’re beautiful, new, vinyl double hung windows. Imagine my horror as a solo traveler at discovering each window was able to be opened silently and without any effort! Such a simple thing for the owners/staff to check could have compromised my safety in the worst way had I not checked.

Excellent in all respects! Very clean and the breakfast was great with a variety of options. Will definitely stay there again!
