Pleasant staff and cozy cabin

Love the breakfast - hot oatmeal, quiche or scrambled eggs, good teas & honey, sliced fruit, fresh pastries! Also loved sitting outside with breakfast, watching deer feeding on the property.

Wonderful unit with space, views and privacy. Lovely breakfast too.

Rooms are outdated , bedding was worn. Don’t book the rooms with no windows.. it’s in the basement and literally no windows. Steps are steep going into room. We asked to move into a different room and was moved . Realize staffing is an issue, but the outside landscaping could be cleaned up.

We have stayed at the Chewuch multiple times and have always enjoyed our stay. The location is close enough to walk or ride a bicycle downtown, and far enough away to enjoy a quiet retreat.

Unfortunately, this visit we encountered what seemed to be some transitions. We had to go to another site to check in with the only notification being a note on the office door (no email communication), we had reserved a cabin with a hot tub which was 82 degrees upon arrival. When we called the office, they did move us to another cabin which presented the same hot tub issue. That being said, we were granted a 20% discount on our stay which was a nice gesture. Lastly, the breakfast has always been a nice bonus to the stay here; this time it was delicious however, the food ran out before all guests had an opportunity to eat. Hopefully, the transition will work its way out and the new management will get things running smoothly again. We’ve always enjoyed staying here.

Breakfast was superb with homemade lemon poppyseed cake and homemade apple scones with hot quiche and fruit. Room was a basement room without a window (which we knew when we booked). Bed was comfortable and heating system was adequate.

We arrived after dark but well before the published checkin time ended. The building was not well lit, and we had to use a flashlight to read a note telling us to go to a different motel down the road to check in. When we got there, the young girl was flustered, but eventually found our reservation. When asked where in the building the room was, she could only tell us that it was in the front of the building. We drove back to the inn, but had difficulty finding the entrance to room #3. There was no light outside and the 3 was the same color as the painted wood. As we entered, we found that one of the 2 lights at the top of the stairs was burned out, and the one left was very dim. We proceeded down about 10 stairs into the basement.

This was the perfect getaway for our anniversary trip to the cascades! The cabin was beautiful, bed was very comfy and the hot tub after long hikes all day was just what we needed. The daily homemade breakfast was amazing as well! 10/10. Will definitely choose to stay here again if we return to the area.

Great breakfast. We didn’t get hot water in our room when we first arrived, but they checked on us and fixed it as well as provided a partial refund for the inconvenience. Deer wanders around property which was nice.

Very quiet location. Our King cabin #16 was comfortable and spacious with private hot tub. Good homemade breakfast , breakfast room with old western style decor are very interesting . Very Friendly and helpful Staff .

No one at the check-in counter , had to go to another property for check-in. Wish they could send a text notice earlier as there were no internet connection while we were visiting North Cascades National Park during day time , we did not receive the check-in instructions until we arrived and saw a note left on the office door. We stayed for 3 nights , due to house keeping was not provided everyday , we had to call the staff for clean towels and garbage removal .
