Our room was comfortable and modern with great amenities. The bed was comfortable. We loved the smallness of Winthrop, and its western theme. It is a beautiful area. The personnel were friendly, helpful, and professional.

My only complaint was the breakfast food. The choices of scrambled eggs and crispy bacon would have been great. Upon my request, scrambled eggs were offered, but they were bland. Also, there were too many remote controls, although I figured them out.

The Country Cabins are just right for a couple. The breakfasts are very good, usually including an egg dish and wonderful homemade breads and pastries.

The inn has changed hands and now has changed many other things on the property--none for the better. Adding noisy hot tubs on all the small cabin outdoor spaces leaves no choice for a quiet space. Clearing the vegetation behind the cabins for whatever purpose has eliminated the lovely feeling of being in the woods where birds, deer, and other wildlife used to roam. We have stayed in the cabins twice a year for many years and sadly will not stay there again.

1.Check in is a bit confusing - it would be great to add instructions at booking.com booking information 2. Wifi barely worked in our cabin. I was considering staying here again in winter while working remotely, but wifi quality would not allow it

Staff are helpful and provided great info on local restaurants.
